Samhain Offering (Alastar)


 I call to the spirits of my kin
When the veil between the worlds becomes thin
With no fear at heart I enter the rite
When the day is over and begins the night
Incantations and evocations are sung
As loud as I can from the depth of my lung
The incense is burning, the smell has filled the room
The smoke is forming... the spirits appear soon

The sage purifies the air
There is a shade behind me that stare
Will you appear from the smoke of sage
Whole my altar is your stage
And I offer up something thou can feed upon
For a year cycle is too long
So I invite you to my hearth and home
Under the protection of old crone

Light the candle for the dead
To enlight their way back and warm their bed
On the eve of samhain night
I call upon an unseen wraith
Spirits of the Earth, water, air and fire
I need you in the circle for the Halloween is nigher
Sentinels of elements
Leave behind all sentiments
For they have many names
They come from the thinning veils
And I feel their cold embrace
The ancient ones speak through the whisper
Their eyes glister...
In the candle light and shadows
In the moment that follows

Spirits haunt this magic hour
Offer them a scentful flower
They dwell in trees
And their whispers in the breeze
I talk to them and ask to guide me
I invite them to come and find me
Talk to me about the present and the past
I bind them to me with spell I cast
I offer up my love to thee
Hear and obey my mournful plea
I want to feel your presence in the mirror
Your image in my memory slowly wither
I have not seen thy face too long
It is for thee I sing my Samhain song.

The potentionality of an act (inspirated by Belial)

Magic of Khem as the inspiration for vampyrism

  Vampyrism is often associated with different directions, and one of them is Khemetism, or the Hellenic version of ancient Egyptian magic.
